Mountains are the remains, the thick layer of scars from this giant’s brutal battle.
Thinking of currently growing mountains gives me shivers. There are the Andes, and the Himalaya for example, both are active battlefields in slow motion.
If you think evolution in emotional terms things can get very sad;
for the vast horizon that used to be one’s flat, is now broken.
